Helene and I went to Churchill Primary School together. I moved to Australia when I was ten and we lost contact. However, I have fond memories of our school days. I remember staying at her house, spending time with her horse and most of all she taught me how to turn my head with attitude and flick my hair. Helene had long beautiful golden hair and would make me practise flicking and tossing mine back the way she did.We would practise this over and over, while laughing our heads off. I actually dreamt about her this year and was planning on trying to get in touch with her. I’m very sad to hear of her passing and send my deepest sympathies to her family. ❤️ Jennie O’Mara ❤️
